Loop was created in April 2000 from within the Kelda Group to provide managed customer services to our sister company Yorkshire Water.
At Loop, we whole-heartedly believe that ensuring our employees are happy and feel supported at work is key to providing excellent customer service.
We have a highly diverse workforce and we understand that our people are our greatest asset so we invest heavily in training and development and constantly review and improve our policies for the benefit of all who work here.
There is a strong sense of belonging within Loop and our employees regularly describe us as being like a family. Supporting a work/life balance is important to us and our family-friendly and flexible working policies ensure employees feel genuinely cared for.
Testament to all of this is our low level of staff turnover, which is well below the contact centre industry standard. Our employees love working for Loop and the average length of service for our contact centre employees is 6 years, meaning we have experienced staff dealing with customer queries.
We pride ourselves on being a great place to work and have developed a wide range of policies and procedures to help attract, retain and support the 600 people we now employ in our office based in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
We firmly believe that excellent customer service is inextricably linked to having fantastic people working in a supportive and happy environment, which has led to the development of our fantastic benefits and reward policies.
A customer’s first contact with Yorkshire Water will be with us and we understand well the incredibly high standards demanded by today’s consumers.
In our bespoke Bradford contact centre we deal with customers by phone, email, letter and social media. Our range of multi-skilled customer relationship managers can handle a customer’s enquiry first time and our aim is to exceed their expectations of great service. Many of our agents speak more than one language so we offer customers a multi-lingual service to better meet the needs of Yorkshire’s diverse population.
But don’t take our word that Loop is a great place to work. We have been awarded a ‘Two star – outstanding company” accreditation by the prestigious Best Companies To Work For and we’ve been placed in the Sunday Times, Top 100 Best Companies to Work For list eight times since 2003.
